Beautifully made, sleek and fits almost any decor. Cleans up just like any other stainless steel items and takes up far less space than other sharps containers. Definitely would purchase again!

I was shopping for a blade bank since I'm trying out this safety razor thing for the first time. I didn't like the ones I saw on Amazon since they all seem to be able to be openable, which scared me a little bit.

So I was happy to find you folks: a blade bank that is entirely enclosed. And I was even happier to see that it was a "local" Canadian shop too (for some definition of "local").

Sure it is a bit more pricey, but there is a promise that I can get a new blade bank after I fill up my existing one. At 100 blades per bank, I guess we will find out in 5 years or so.

Well worth the investment
One of the things I was concerned about when switching to non-cartridge razors was disposal. But this is a great solution—a sleek, safe, well-made stainless steel box that wouldn't look out of place in a Helmut Lang concept store circa 1996.

I switched to the well kept safety razor primarily to reduce my waste footprint, and was delighted to find out that well kept provides this option to safely recycle used blades. Feels like a bargain, considering that it won't need to be returned for years! Much smaller than you might expect too.

Because you need those blades somewhere
I loved the idea of safety razors as a sustainable alternative to disposable razors, but worried about stray blades with little kids around. This keeps everything safe and the used blades don't end up in the trash.

I reached out to the customer service team to ask how their recycling program worked and they were quick to respond and answer my questions! The blade bank is a lot smaller than I thought it would be in person but that’s my fault for glossing over the measurements lol. So excited to start using my safety razor and I feel even better knowing that the razors will be safely recycled at the end of their use!
