Razor burn and ingrown hairs are usually caused by pressure and too many blades dragging against your skin. This set is built to remove both — a weighted brass razor that does the work so you don't have to press, and a single sharp blade instead of three or four dragging and tugging with each pass.

We want what you bring into your routine to feel considered and right for you. We accept returns on unused, unopened items within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and original shipping fees are non-refundable. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, let us know within 7 days so we can take care of it.
Because our products are personal care, we’re unable to accept returns on opened items. That said, if something doesn’t feel right, reach out and we’ll take care of it.

Switching to a safety razor is simpler than it seems
Start with warm, wet skin and apply shave oil or shave soap to create glide. Hold the razor at a gentle angle (around 30°) and use very little pressure—let the weight of the razor do the work.
Shave in slow, short strokes, rinsing the blade as you go. A fresh blade helps create the smoothest, most comfortable shave.
It may take a few shaves to feel natural, but once you find your rhythm, it becomes a simple part of your routine.

The insert is made from mycelium—the technical name for mushroom roots—making it a natural, compostable material produced in North America.
The shave soap is wrapped in an organic cotton bag.
The shave oil comes in a glass bottle.
The safety razor is made, coated, and packaged in Canada.
The shave oil is hand-mixed and poured in our Vancouver studio, and the shave soap is made locally in Vancouver.

The safety razor is made from brass and aluminum, materials designed for durability and longevity. The glass shave oil bottle can be recycled through your local recycling program, and blades can be recycled through our Blade Bank program.

This is my second safety razor from Well Kept (my first lasted five years before I accidentally dropped it on the floor 3). I love the kelp color and really enjoyed the shave soap. The shave oil smells amazing and leaves my legs feeling smooth and hydrated after shaving. Overall, I’m extremely happy with these products and would definitely recommend them!

Such an amazing product
Good first safety razor. Oils are great and feel nice. Worth it but nothing ground breaking compared to disposal razor or other oils. I love this one for its low environmental impact and cruelty free nature so I'll stick with it and recommend it to others but the shave and after feel of the skin is the same as using other brands.

I am very happy with my purchase. One of the reasons I picked this brand was because of the recycling program that they offer, since razor blades in can't be recycled in my city. I wish there were some different colour options but overall I am very happy with the razor, it works well.
Great quality razor, razor bank, and shave oil. Terrific shave experience with results that last multiple days. Could not be happier to leave behind the world of plastic razors for this beautiful product set instead. Worth the investment.
Finally found a solution to having pesky ingrown hairs after shaving. My legs have never been smoother and I found it a lot easier to use than I thought it was going to be! The bundle is definitely worth it for the additional razors and safe disposal box.
The shave is good but no better than a good multi blade Shick or Gillete razor. I have a beard so only shave my cheeks and neck. The contour areas still don't get a perfectly clean shave. I still get some razor burn if I don't have enough soap in places. I like the low cost replacement blades and I'm happy to be supporting a Canadian company.
I'm not used to using a single blade. I have just used it once, but I cut myself in three places. How do I shave my chin and my jawline without cutting myself?

Thanks for reaching out! Switching to a single-blade razor can take a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll find it gives a closer, smoother shave with less irritation. I’m happy to share a few tips to help:
/ Use very little pressure—our safety razor is weighted to do the work for you.
/ Unlike multi-blade razors, pressing down can increase the risk of nicks.
/ Hold the razor at about a 30-degree angle to your skin for the best glide.
/ Short, gentle strokes work best, especially around curved areas like the chin and jawline.
/ Shave with the grain (in the direction your hair grows) to reduce irritation and make the process smoother.
/ Prep your skin with warm water and shave oil to soften the hair and protect your skin.

Absolutely LOVE this razor! It’s very easy to handle, sharp, and glides smoothly. I was looking for an alternative to my Leaf razor because I’ve had trouble navigating trickier areas with it. This one suits my needs perfectly. The pink color is quite adorable too.

I tried to start using a straight razor a couple years ago because the other stuff on the market just didn't work well for me, plus they generate so much trash. only problem is a straight razor is pretty rough and intimidating for armpits. I'm delighted with the safety razor to accomplish the task!

It would be great if there’s a grip! It is slippery to hold and feels heavy ease to drop the wrong way 😬. Also the shave is close but just not quite close enough. I find I am able to put pressure on my old razer without nicking my skin, and get a closer shave. Overall it’s good but I’m not in love. Unfortunately. I really do love the design and concept though. Truly.
